Away for the holiday

I am visiting my family in New England. I arrived last night at my sister's house in Western Massachusetts. This morning as I am reading email, reading blogs, and chatting with my brother-in-law he mentioned the phone. They have not just one, but two of these phones!

I had an uneventful trip from Minneapolis to Bradley, rented a car and got here successfully. Later this week I will be driving my brother-in-law to Maine so that I can visit my sister, and he can visit his parents and sister. We will then go to Northwestern CT for my family's annual get-together.

  1. I am Michael's brother-in-law. I'm sure he found it very amusing to imply in his blog entry that my two working rotary dial phones are the only ones I have -- while using my DSL broadband service to access his blog! I assure you I also have three digital touch tone phones (corded and cordless), a digital answering machine and a cell phone as well.

  2. Just a little defensive, Jimbo? No, I did not mention your other phones or your wireless. I am writing this comment from Naples Maine, having also spent 6 hours in the car with Jimbo. What Jimbo did not mention about his cell phone is that there is no Verizon service at his house. Cingular/ATT works. Alltel (my work cell phone) does not either. Naples Maine has better service!
